The Accordion Paint Baffle

The Accordion paint baffle captures liquid overspray through impaction by the process of inertial separation and, in the Poly-Back, further filters through secondary straining.

Unlike fiberglass, polyester, and paper mesh filters, The Accordion paint baffle loads overspray particles from the back, eliminating uneven airflow caused by particles face-loading on the front of the filter directly behind the point of spray. The accordion design separates the overspray particles from the airflow through the force of inertia and captures them deep inside holding pockets, eliminating particle migration. As a result, The Accordion can last 3-5x longer than other filter media.
The Accordion Standard
SINGLE STAGE FILTRATION
The Accordion Standard is the better baffle to arrest tacky, slow-to-dry, overspray such as high solid enamels, epoxy, asphalt, and varnish. This single-stage media tests at 98.3% paint arrestance efficiency and holds > 6 lbs of overspray per 20×20″ pad.

The Accordion Custom Sizes
Standard filters are available in most any size, up to 1m wide x 30ft long. If you need a size not shown, or would prefer not to cut-to-length, contact us for a quote. Lead time for all custom sizes is 1 week by default (but will likely ship sooner).

The Accordion Poly-Back
TWO STAGE FILTRATION
The Poly-Back Baffle is best used with air dried liquid coatings such as enamels, primers, urethanes, and other flash dry coatings with fine particle size characteristics. The Accordion Poly-Back also serves as an excellent first and second stage pre-filter to any final stage media.

The Accordion Baffle Support
PAD SIZE FILTER SUPPORT
Accordion Baffle Supports are used in 20×20″ and 20×25″ cell frame openings to hold the paint baffle open. No tool installation, just slip the supports in and out of the exhaust cell opening.
Baffle supports are for use in cell frames to secure The Accordion filter to the frame.
- Supports are available in 20×20″ and 20×25″ sizes.
- Simple installation – no tools required.
Straight tines slip behind the existing cell frame.
Done! - Tuck Accordion Filter end pleats behind the bent tines.
- Supports can be turned either direction to fit your frame.
